My husband bought this book for me because I complained that I couldn't get my head around miters and copes. What we didn't know was that this book would help me get my head around every kind of finish carpentry necessary for my renovations, and a lot of basic carpentry as well. For a beginner working with wood, manufactured surfaces, tile, and drywall, this book gave me everything I needed to get started - including very useful tips for getting the most of my tools.
I compare this to a similar book I bought that was published by Lowe's, or even to books not published by a major retailer, and none compare.
I couldn't do what I do without the information in this book.
