2Not what was expected  Dec 29, 2005 By L. Becraft
Only basic info on planning a project and included plans are just a teaser to get you to purchase complete plans. There are much better general barn/shed books.

5If you're planning a small barn, you need this book.  Oct 10, 2002 By Donald J. Berg
No one knows more about small barns than Craig Wallin. He builds beautiful little barns and country homes in Washington state. The structures that he designs for Homestead Design, Inc. have been built all across the US and Canada. Here, he gives you a step-by-step guide to planning and building the perfect storage barn, workshop, horse barn or country garage for your place. He gives good, practical, no-nonsense advice on determining the space you need, building and property plans, getting permits, finding good contractors at fair prices, and on do-it-yourself building. This book is packed with plans, details and great ideas. I learned a lot from this book. You will too!

2Small Barn Plans  Sep 13, 2005 By svpilot
It's marginally useful with hand drawn, black & white diagrams. You do get a sense of what building a horse barn or shed is all about. There are other reference books out there that deal with the subject in a more polished way though.

5Best barns  Sep 26, 2002 By Jackie Semar
We've sought advice on building structures for horses serveral times. This is the first book that covers design options, materials, project budgeting and handling a contractor for the do-it-yourself-er or the owner/supervisor. It is a terrific resource for horse owners.

5Best barn book  Nov 01, 2002 By Jackie Semar
This is a great, thorough, from start-to-finish explanation of how to build a barn for your property. Beautiful, functional plans, expert easy-to-follow construction detail. Even how to manage the building permit process. Highly recommend it!
