Real world projects, really useful Jun 16, 2004
TV makes makeovers look like instant magic. This book, though, is about what a real kitchen requires. One of the best things is that Peters takes one kitchen and makes it over 3 times for 3 different budgets.He doesn't gloss over the tougher stuff, either, telling you when it's time for a pro, and when you can take on something yourself. We've been thinking about a makeover for over a year--now, we have a starting point. A terrific book.

After deciding to take on a daunting kitchen remodel the next step was to buy this book which a friend had recommended... best purchase ever. It goes into very good detail about all aspects of the kitchen and gives simple directions on how to accomplish the different parts of each of the 3 remodels it shows in the book.
A great book to read before deciding how to remodel your kitchen as there are ideas you wouldn't normally think of in the book! Great!!!
