We have a small kitchen that is being remodeled and this book had plenty of ideas to help us get the most use out of a small space. Great ideas on helping to select cabinets and gadgets as well as appliances.

Great kitchen ideas!!! I almost can say more. Love this book, great ideas would recommend for considering a kitchen remodel. Ideas for the whole kitchen or just for some small ideas.

I previewed a number of kitchen books to use in our upcoming remodel. This one looked and sounded good, and it was cheap. The trouble is that the "ideas" are all wildly expensive (way over the top!), and the book is filled with almost entirely extremely overblown designs. Nearly all the ideas involve painted cabinetry, are VERY ornate styles (making Victorian or French provincial styles look sleek and modern). One cannot even get any ideas for a traditional kitchen from this book, let alone something contemporary. And the designs shown would be 50-200% more expensive to implement because of all the custom work involved. Most of the cabinetry is not even available commercially but would have to be custom built AND custom designed.
