2Great as a school textbook otherwise forget it  Feb 25, 2011 By Gene Friedman
This book is written by a couple of professors not technicians and it certainly shows. If you enjoy reading a college textbook this is for you. If you are looking for real-world tricks, tips, and insight you will not find it here. Why in the world is there a chapter devoted to motors? Why is there nothing about using ESR meters? I read the first 2 chapters then tossed it.

4See other reviewer re college text.  May 29, 2011 By Okie Jeff
I knew nothing about nothing before this book. It is a great starting point. But if you're serious about it, it's only going to get you started.

5Just buy it already  Mar 22, 2010 By Donald A. Dick "Self Study"
Remember the old days in school were you were forced to take a quiz at the end of each chapter to make sure you had the basic foundation to move
on to the next chapter? Well the Quiz is back in Electronic Troubleshooting and it works

Now go buy it.

1Troubleshooting  Sep 20, 2010 By JC
I have troubleshooted all sorts of electronic gadgets and have been doing it for 3 years and I have come to learn that you can not learn real world troubleshooting from a book. It is not possible.
