Electricity, Electronics, and Control Systems for HVAC was written to help readers understand how to install, troubleshoot and repair electrical parts of air-conditioning, heating, and refrigeration systems. The author uses over 20 years of experience to simplify electrical theory, show the operations of motors and controls and teach various troubleshooting techniques. Chapters are devoted to reading and writing diagrams and a unique chapter is included on how to find and keep a job. With strong visuals and a clear presentation, this book is simple enough for beginners yet detailed enough to serve as a reference in the field. 4Good introduction despite some errors  Jul 05, 1999
this is a good book for a technician or an engineer trying to get up to speed on the subject. Some typos and misprints are amusing. There are a number of disconnections between the illustrations and the text which occasionally make for difficult reading.

5Great Reference Book!  Jan 06, 2012 By Hung V. Pham
Great book to own and if you don't need the latest edition, get this for fraction of the cost of the current edition!

3Wrong Edition  May 01, 2011 By Shu'ayb
To give you the benefit of the doubt, the condition of your products are excellent as advertised. Where I keep running into problems with you is when I key in the title of the book that I want, you send me an outdated edition that does me no good. By the time I receive the book, the quarter has started. If and when I decide to send the book back for a refund or exchange, we are over two weeks into the quarter. By then, two or three homework assignments are due, and at least two quizzes have been given. From here on, I will only key in the ISBN number of the book I need for any future purchases I make with you or your affiliates. This way, there will be no doubt in what I am expecting since the ISBN numbers will have to match. In my latest purchase, I requested the 4th Edition of ELECTRICITY, ELECTRONICS, AND CONTROL SYSTEMS for HVAC, but I received the 2nd Edition. By the time I realized the mistake, I was two and a half weeks into the quarter! Rectifying the situation, would have taken at least another week, so I wound up purchasing a brand new book anyway.
