the best construction guides! Dec 11, 2011

I love all the Black and Decker home construction guides and own 9 of them, including this one. I have no construction experience and learned almost everything I needed to know to completely remodel my house from them. I definitely think they are the best out there. I really appreciate the step by step color photographs. Many other construction guides use illustrations instead which i don't find as helpful.

If you are like me and know (knew) nothing about Masonry, then I highly recommend this book. Very well illustrated (color) with a variety of projects and examples. It was better than I had hoped for.
