5Great pictures and ideas  Aug 26, 2007 By CH
I looked through many books when it was time to have a bathroom redone. This book although not large, had some of the best pictures and ideas of the many books I looked at. I used one of their bathrooms as the base for my remodel and it came out looking great. Definitely check this book out if you are thinking of remodeling or even just freshening up a bathroom.

5Excellent guide for bathroom renovations  Jun 23, 2010 By Ann Krueger "seaarnold"
Nice combination of eye candy and content on planning for a renovation. For me, the best of the many I looked at.

5Great inspiration book  Oct 26, 2009 By FloridaSunshine "FloridaSunshine"
A useful book for generating ideas for bathroom makeovers. We used it when planning our master bath redo. It has many affordable and practical ideas as well as helping to decide on styles and features.

5A Great Addition to a Design Library  Feb 13, 2007 By monograph lover "ml"
This is a very good source book. Novel ideas are presented with great clarity. The quality of the images is spectacular.

2Not that helpful, actually  Sep 19, 2011 By R. Ward
There are a few interesting ideas in this book. Of course there are a range of styles, some of which you will like and others you will hate -- so that cuts down the number of pages you will actually find useful. Irritatingly, the book doesn't provide measurements, and doesn't always provide layouts. There is no discussion of the specific challenges of a particular bathroom. For example, I found the first picture in the book, a bathroom entirely covered in green slate, intriguing. The first question I had was, when the bathroom is so monochromatic do you still use a white toilet? Does it look weird if you do? The picture doesn't include the toilet so there is no clue. And there is no discussion of what type of slate you would need to use for durability in a shower, or reasonably easy cleaning. There are no resources listed, so all you really get is a set of pictures of ideas that other people have had -- good luck with implementing them yourself. I find houzz (Amazon won't let me post the website link, but you can google it) much more useful for this kind of inspiration.
